Ajna Chakra

In the center of the eyebrows
Ajna/Agnya = Command, Knowledge, Wisdom

The Ajna Chakra, also known as the Agnya Chakra because it is the main center of perception, consciousness, and intuition., is situated in the middle of the head, between the eyebrows. The Agya Chakra OR Ajna Chakra is the sixth basic chakra in the Kundalini Chakra, located in the human body. Agnya means knowledge and order. As a result, it is also known as the “Third Eye.” The center of intelligence and clarity is the Ajna Chakra. It delineates the separation between the divine and human consciousness. We reach Samadhi, or the Supreme Consciousness, when the energies of these three nadis meet here and rise up.

Om, ” ॐ ” is its mantra. Indigo is the color of the Agnya Chakra. The anupada element, which is the element of the mind, is its element. A white Shivalingam, the representation of creative consciousness, serves as its emblem. This cycle and any subsequent cycles contain no animal symbol. There are only pure human and divine qualities at this level.

At this level of consciousness, there are “only two,” the Atman and the Paramatma (Self and God), and the lotus with its two petals serves as the Ajna Chakra's symbol. The Ajna Chakra's idols depict Shiva and Shakti united in one form. This indicates that although consciousness and nature are already united in the Ajna Chakra, their union is not yet complete.

Unity, zero, truth, mind, and bliss are the characteristics of this chakra. The use of the “third eye,” which is a symbol of Lord Shiva, is a result of the opening of the “eye of wisdom” within and the realization of the soul. The “inner master” is seated in the Ajna Chakra. It stands for knowledge and wisdom, which can be seen in every action. The ego-based genius has given in to the rationality of the moral conscience's higher power. A blockage in this chakra, on the other hand, reduces a person's capacity for imagination and discernment, causing confusion.

The essence of Ajna Chakra according to Yoga Granth

इड़ा भागीरथी गंगा पिंगला यमुना नदी।
तर्योमध्यगत नाड़ी सुषुम्णाख्या सरस्वती।।

That is, 'Ida' nadi is called Ganga, and 'Pingala' nadi is Yamuna and Sushumna nadi flowing between these two nadis is called Saraswati. The place where these three nadis meet is called Triveni. One who bathes his mind in this Triveni, that is, meditates on this chakra, all his sins are destroyed.

Agnya Chakra is the meeting place of mind and intellect. This place, the vertical top point is the place of the mind. The Yogi experiences the Kundalini Shakti coming from the Sushumna path right here in the Ajna Chakra. With the help of Yogic practice and Guru, the seeker enters the Agnya Chakra of Kundalini Shakti and then by merging the Kundalini Shakti into the Sahastrar Chakra, attains divine knowledge and the divine element and attains salvation.
