Sahasrara Chakra

Crown center
Sahasrara = thousand, infinite, innumerable

Crown Chakra or Sahasrara Chakra (Sahasrara chakra or crown chakra) is the seventh chakra in the body that activates divine energy. The Sanskrit word Sahasrara means 'thousand' or 'infinite'. The 7 chakras in the body are symbolized by the petals of a lotus flower, which preserve the flow of energy. When all the petals are fully opened, a universal balance of body, mind, and soul is achieved. The Sahasrara Chakra is located at the top of the head and is also known as the Crown Chakra. Sahasrara is the last of the seven chakras.
The Sahasrara Chakra is located at the top of the head. It is also called the "Thousand Petaled Lotus,"  "Brahma Randhra" (Gateway of God), or "The Center of Laksh Rays" because it radiates light like the Sun. No other light comes close to the brightness of the Sun. Similarly, the energies and radiations of all the other chakras get clouded by the radiation of the Sahasrara Chakra.

There is an important power in the Sahasrar Chakra: Medha Shakti. Brain power is a hormone that affects brain processes such as memory, concentration, and intelligence. Medha Shakti can be activated and strengthened by yoga exercises.

The Sahasrara Chakra does not have any special color or quality. It is pure light, which has all the colors. The energy of all the nadis is combined in this center, similar to how thousands of rivers flow into the ocean. Here the soul is the back of Shiva. The awakening of the Sahasrara Chakra means a divine miracle and a vision of the Supreme Consciousness. Just as the night vanishes with the sunrise, in the same way, ignorance vanishes (destroyed) by the awakening of the Sahasrara Chakra.

This chakra represents the purpose of yoga—self-realization, and God-realization, where the soul of the individual connects with the consciousness of the universe. One who attains this is freed from all karma and attains moksha—completely free from the cycle of rebirth and death. In meditation, the yogi reaches Nirvikalpa Samadhi (the highest level of trance) at the Sahasrara Chakra, where the mind becomes completely still and the knowledge, the knower, and the known are merged into one and attain perfection.
The thousand-petalled lotus blossoming in the Sahasrara Chakra is symbolic of the whole, expanded consciousness. The deity of this chakra is Lord Shiva in the form of pure, supreme consciousness. Its corresponding form is the principle Aditattva, the supreme, spiritual principle. The mantra is the same as it is for the Ajna Chakra – the basic chant 'ॐ', 'Om'.

Location of the Sahasrara chakra

The Sahasrara Chakra is located on the crown of the head below the Brahmarandhra, which is easily visible in a newborn baby. It is also known as the thousand-petalled lotus, Brahmarandhra (the gate of Brahma), and the source of light (because a supernatural light as bright as the sun emanates from it). No other light reaches the brightness of the Sun. Similarly, in front of the incomparable brightness of the Sahasrara Chakra, the brightness of all other chakras fades.

The spiritual connection to purple

It also brings a strong sense of letting go and the joy of change. Due to this, a deep change is felt. The feeling that arises from the color violet or purple allows one to see the existence of oneself beyond material and material values.

Sahasrara Chakra Imbalance Problems

A person with a blocked Sahasrara Chakra may experience a reluctance to be open to other thoughts, ideas, or knowledge.

Ajna chakra

Namaste,

Ajna Chakra, often referred to as the third eye chakra, resides in the center of the forehead between the eyebrows and signifies intuition, wisdom, and insight within the subtle body. Ajna Chakra serves as the seat of higher consciousness, inner wisdom, and perception beyond the physical realm. This chakra governs our ability to see the bigger picture, trust our intuition, and connect with our inner guidance. When Ajna Chakra is in balance, individuals experience heightened intuition, clarity of thought, and a deeper connection to their inner wisdom. Practices such as yoga, meditation, and visualization techniques target Ajna Chakra, aiming to balance and awaken this energy center, allowing for a free flow of intuitive energy. Awakening and nurturing Ajna Chakra is instrumental for gaining clarity, accessing intuition, and transcending limitations by tapping into our inner guidance.

In our previous posts, we learned about The Muladhara Chakra, Swadhishthana Chakra, Manipura Chakra, Anahata Chakra and Vishuddha Chakra. Now in this post, we take a step forward and try to get some knowledge about another most important human Chakra called, “Ajna Chakra”.

Explore the mystical world of the Ajna Chakra, the third eye energy center that governs our intuition, inner wisdom, and spiritual insight. Located in the forehead between the eyebrows, this chakra is the key to unlocking our spiritual potential and connecting with our higher consciousness. Learn how to balance and activate the Ajna Chakra with yoga, meditation, and other powerful techniques, and open the door to deeper levels of clarity, guidance, and inspiration. Discover the power of the Ajna Chakra today.

Ajna Chakra

In the center of the eyebrows
Ajna/Agnya = Command, Knowledge, Wisdom

The Ajna Chakra, also known as the Agnya Chakra because it is the main center of perception, consciousness, and intuition., is situated in the middle of the head, between the eyebrows. The Agya Chakra OR Ajna Chakra is the sixth basic chakra in the Kundalini Chakra, located in the human body. Agnya means knowledge and order. As a result, it is also known as the “Third Eye.” The center of intelligence and clarity is the Ajna Chakra. It delineates the separation between the divine and human consciousness. We reach Samadhi, or the Supreme Consciousness, when the energies of these three nadis meet here and rise up.

Om, ” ॐ ” is its mantra. Indigo is the color of the Agnya Chakra. The anupada element, which is the element of the mind, is its element. A white Shivalingam, the representation of creative consciousness, serves as its emblem. This cycle and any subsequent cycles contain no animal symbol. There are only pure human and divine qualities at this level.

At this level of consciousness, there are “only two,” the Atman and the Paramatma (Self and God), and the lotus with its two petals serves as the Ajna Chakra's symbol. The Ajna Chakra's idols depict Shiva and Shakti united in one form. This indicates that although consciousness and nature are already united in the Ajna Chakra, their union is not yet complete.

Unity, zero, truth, mind, and bliss are the characteristics of this chakra. The use of the “third eye,” which is a symbol of Lord Shiva, is a result of the opening of the “eye of wisdom” within and the realization of the soul. The “inner master” is seated in the Ajna Chakra. It stands for knowledge and wisdom, which can be seen in every action. The ego-based genius has given in to the rationality of the moral conscience's higher power. A blockage in this chakra, on the other hand, reduces a person's capacity for imagination and discernment, causing confusion.

The essence of Ajna Chakra according to Yoga Granth

इड़ा भागीरथी गंगा पिंगला यमुना नदी।
तर्योमध्यगत नाड़ी सुषुम्णाख्या सरस्वती।।

That is, 'Ida' nadi is called Ganga, and 'Pingala' nadi is Yamuna and Sushumna nadi flowing between these two nadis is called Saraswati. The place where these three nadis meet is called Triveni. One who bathes his mind in this Triveni, that is, meditates on this chakra, all his sins are destroyed.

Agnya Chakra is the meeting place of mind and intellect. This place, the vertical top point is the place of the mind. The Yogi experiences the Kundalini Shakti coming from the Sushumna path right here in the Ajna Chakra. With the help of Yogic practice and Guru, the seeker enters the Agnya Chakra of Kundalini Shakti and then by merging the Kundalini Shakti into the Sahastrar Chakra, attains divine knowledge and the divine element and attains salvation.

Size and Shape of Ajna chakra

In the chakra system, the Ajna Chakra is described as a transparent lotus flower. It has two white petals, which represent the two major nadis, Ida and Pingala.
These are the two main nadis, which reach the central Sushumna nadi before reaching the Sahasrara Chakra.
On its left petal is written “Hum” in white which represents the infinite “Shiva”. On its second petal, the letter “Ksham” is written in white color which represents “Shakti”.
Hakini Shakti resides in the depths of the flower. It is depicted as a white moon. Above this is hidden a white lingam or lingam in a downward-pointing triangle. This triangle of this chakra in the form of a lotus flower represents knowledge.
In the Ajna Chakra, the Ardhanarishvara form of the Lord is also shown, which represents the union and power of Shiva and Shakti. As the chakra of the internal energy power of our body, this chakra is also associated with the layer of our aura, which is known as the etheric layer in aura science.

Color of Ajna chakra

Ajna Chakra or Ajna Chakra is the last energy center of the seven chakras. The balance of this chakra in the human body provides freedom of thought and expression. The blue color of this chakra represents its concept or concept.
Its deep blue color gives it a depth of majesty and mystery of the deep night. Its deep blue color seems to open doors of spirituality and divine depth.
The blue color symbolizes intelligence and inner wisdom. Its blue color provides clarity to all the five senses of the human body.
The blue color of this chakra encourages the transformation of energy from the lower chakras into the spiritual vibrations of the higher chakras in the human body.

Vishuddha Chakra: A Comprehensive Step-by-Step Guide

Namaste,

Vishuddha Chakra, the throat energy center located at the base of the throat, signifies communication, self-expression, and authenticity within the subtle body. Vishuddha Chakra is the seat of our ability to express truth, speak our authentic voice, and communicate effectively. This chakra governs our capacity for clear communication, creative expression, and finding our inner truth. When Vishuddha Chakra is balanced, individuals experience a sense of confidence in their expression, effective communication, and a harmonious connection between thoughts and words. Practices such as yoga, chanting, and meditation target Vishuddha Chakra, aiming to balance and activate this energy center, allowing for a free flow of expressive energy. Awakening and nurturing Vishuddha Chakra is crucial for finding our authentic voice, expressing ourselves genuinely, and fostering clear communication in our interactions.

In our previous posts, we learned about The Muladhara Chakra, Swadhishthana Chakra, Manipura Chakra, and Anahata Chakra. Now in this post, we take a step forward and try to get some knowledge about another most important human Chakra called, “Vishuddha Chakra”.

Discover the transformative power of the Vishuddha Chakra, the throat energy center that governs our ability to communicate, express ourselves, and speak our truth. Located in the neck area, this chakra is the gateway to our authentic self-expression and creative power. Learn how to balance and activate the Vishuddha Chakra with yoga, meditation, and other powerful techniques, and unleash your inner voice and self-confidence. Explore the world of the Vishuddha Chakra today.

The Vishuddha Chakra is located in the throat. Its mantra is "हं ","Hum". The color of Vishuddha Chakra is purple. In this cycle our consciousness reaches the fifth level. Its equivalent element is akasha (space). We can also translate it as 'Ishvara' (Lokottara), meaning that this place should be full of energy. Vishuddha Chakra is the starting point of Udana Prana. It is the process of this prana to purify the toxic substances of the body at the time of respiration. It is because of this main function that the name of this chakra is derived. Purification is not only done at the physical level but also at the level of emotion and mind. The problems and sad experiences we have 'swallowed' and buried inside in life remain in our subconscious mind until we face them and resolve them intelligently.

The deity of the Vishuddha Chakra is the creator, Brahma, who symbolizes consciousness. In meditation when one's consciousness merges with the sky, we get wisdom and intelligence. The animal symbolizing the Vishuddha Chakra is a white elephant. We also see the image of a moon in its picture which is the symbol of the mind.
The Vishuddha Chakra represents the innumerable feelings of happiness and freedom that swell our abilities and skills. With this level of development, there is a clear voice, talent for singing and speaking, as well as a balanced and calm thought.

Until this chakra is fully developed, certain difficulties may be experienced. Blockage in the Vishuddha chakra causes feelings of anxiety, lack of freedom, bondage, tension, and throat problems. Some physical difficulties, such as swelling and slurred speech, may also be encountered.

The symbol of the Vishuddha Chakra is a lotus with sixteen petals. It symbolizes the sixteen powerful arts (qualities) that a human being can develop. Since Vishuddha Chakra is the center of sound, the number sixteen also symbolizes the sixteen vowels in Sanskrit. In this center one can experience eloquence, which is such an extraordinary ability that whatever a person speaks turns out to be true.

The blue color element of the fifth of the seven chakras in our body explores all levels of self-expression. Blue is the color of communication, which gives us the power to speak the truth.
Blue is also located on the cooler end of the color spectrum. The color blue allows the body and mind to feel at peace. It also represents a pure mind, which is necessary to be free from any negative thoughts.

Vishuddha Chakra Beej Mantra

Its seed mantra is the syllable “Hum” and is written in white on the chakra. In the Bindu or the point above the mantra, the deity Sadashiva resides.

Who has 5 faces, representing the spectrum of smell, taste, sight, touch, and sound, and 10 arms. The right half of his body is white Shiva, and the left half of the body is golden Shakti.

The petals correspond to the Vitis of the Ong [Om] mantras, the Sama-mantras, the Trishanku mantras, Phat, Vashat, Svadha, Swaha and Namak, the nectar nectar and the seven musical notes.
The Vishuddha Chakra is known as the purification center, where Amrita drips from the Bindu Chakra, and splits into pure form and poison.

In its most abstract form, it is associated with higher differentiation, and with creativity and self-expression.
It is believed that when the Vishuddha Chakra closes, a person decays and dies. When it is open, negative experiences are transformed into knowledge and learning.

Anahta Chakra
Anahata Nada = unlimited, infinite sound

The Anahata Chakra is one of the most beautiful and richest Chakras and invites us to dwell longer in its inexhaustible treasures of delightful feelings and experiences. Anahata Chakra is located in the region of the heart, in the center of the chest, and this is why it is also known as the Heart Centre. And it is not without reason that the heart is regarded as the symbol of love, for the Anahata Chakra is the seat of love.
Anahata Chakra is the back of sound (Naad). Concentration on this chakra can develop a person's talents as an artist or creator. From this cycle comes the power of determination, which helps in fulfilling wishes.
Anahata Chakra is located in the middle of the chest near the heart. Its mantra is Yama (YAM). The color of the Anahata Chakra is green. The corresponding element is air which represents freedom and expansion. This chakra promotes a consciousness that develops boundless compassion

Anahata Chakra is the back (place) of the soul. The symbol of the Anahata Chakra is a lotus with twelve petals. It symbolizes the divine qualities of the heart such as ecstasy, peace, orderliness, love, cognition, clarity, purity, unity, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and certainty. However, the heart center is also the center of feelings and emotions. Its emblem is two asterisks in the form of triangles overcast. The top of one triangle points up and the other points down. When the energy of the Anahata Chakra flows toward the spiritual consciousness, then our feelings reveal devotion, purity, God's love, and loyalty. However, if our consciousness is immersed in the realm of worldly desires, then our emotions become confused and unbalanced. It is then that desire, hatred-jealousy, indifference and frustration overwhelm us.

Concentration on the Anahata chakra can develop a person's talent as a writer or poet. The second power that emerges from the Anahat Chakra is Sankalp Shakti, which is the power of wish fulfillment. When you wish to fulfill a wish, concentrate it in your heart. The more pure your Anahata Chakra is, the sooner your wish will come true.

The symbol of the Anahata Chakra is the animal kuranga (deer) which reminds us of extreme attention and vigilance. The deities of this chakra are Shiva and Parvati, symbols of consciousness and nature. In this cycle, both should become one in harmony.
